She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willie and Lindsay Beatrice Cole McAlister. She is survived by: her husband Ernest F. Harris; her son Charles "Mickey" Harris; her siblings, Frances Heffner, Vergie Cooper, Virginia McAbee, Elizabeth Clayton, Willie Mae Wright, Lewis McAlister, Raymond McAlister and Carl McAlister; her daughter Cathy; her children-in-law, Donald Parrott of Gastonia and Sheryl Harris of Little River, SC; her sister Shirley; her siblings-in-law, Jack Webb of Beaumont, CA and Fanny McAlister of Gastonia; her grandchildren, Dayne, Hunter Harris, Christie Strickland (TJ), Josh Eaker (Hanna) and Jonny Eaker (Daryl); and her great grandchildren, Ellie and Jackson Strickland. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
