She is survived by: her children, Susan Rainey Adams (Grady) and Michael Lee Rainey (Sandra); and her grandchildren, Brandon Adams, Ashlee Adams Cox, Laura Maier and Aaron Rainey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 2650 Union Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
