He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Anderson Stewart and Earl Clarence Tomblin; his sister-in-law Jane Robinson Dills Tomblin; and his father-in-law Troy Thomas Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Jenkins Tomblin of Gastonia; his sons, Arthur Neal Tomblin Jr. (Kim) of Rutherfordton, NC and Robert Tomblin of Rutherfordton, NC; his siblings, David Earl Tomblin of Little River, SC, Andy Tomblin (Stephanie) of Rutherfordton, NC and Katie Tomblin Haskins (Justin) of Ranlo, NC; his stepsisters, Robin Hutchins Belize (Joe) and Mary Rochester (Don) of Conway, SC; his mother-in-law Christine Jenkins of Gastonia, NC; and his brothers-in-law, Neil Jenkins of Gastonia, NC and Alan Jenkins of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces.
