Broaden; his son Arthur James Monroe, III of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter Nariyah Imani Monroe of Charlotte, NC; and his brothers, Barren Broaden (Patrick) of Charlotte, NC and Aaron Broaden of Iron Station, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
