She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Virgil "Jerry" and Hester Leona Mencer Whisner; her children, Donald Reid "Yogi" McCumbee, David Wayne McCumbee and Darla Jo McCumbee; and her sisters, Judith Gossard and Karen L. Bushman.
She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Lynn Waugh of Gastonia, NC; and her sister Patricia L. Hook of Great Cacapon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
