She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Harvard and Ruth Collins Simpson; her husband Richard Yocum Kelly; and her sister Shirley Simpson Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Susan Kelly Schenck (Mark) of Gastonia, NC and Richard Kelly (Mary) of Shelby, NC.; her grandchildren, Allison Shank, Andrew Schenck, Jeb Kelly (Sarah Ellen), Matt Kelly (Leah) and Tom Kelly; her great grandchildren, Annabelle Shank, Fletcher, Adelyn and Ella Paige Kelly; and her friend Kelly.
