She was predeceased by: her parents, Sybil Propst Jenkins and Robert Bain Jenkins, Sr.; her husband Thomas Eugene Riggs; her sister Delores Jenkins Thornton; her brother-in-law Mac Thornton; her nieces and nephews, Sharon Suzanne Riggs and Dana Ann Riggs; and her half-sister Helen Jenkins Johnson.
She is survived by: her sister-in-law Carol N. Jenkins; her nieces and nephews, Leigh Jenkins Goodwyn (Bill), Cynthia Jenkins Isom (Maron), Shuford Thornton Cornetter (Clint), Reavis Thornton and R. Neal Thornton (Katherine); her half-brother Dr. George H. Johnson, Sr.; and her cousins, Dr. George Johnson, Jr., Amie Johnson Dempsey (Jake), Mandy Johnson Boike (Terry) and Sally Johnson Litchen (Jerry). She is also survived by six great nieces and three great-nephews.
