She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Preston and Virginia Timberlake Whisnant; her husband William Stuart Roberts; and her daughter Sara Winston Roberts. She is survived by: her son Stuart (Melissa Roberts); her friends, Hazel, Jean B, Peggy, Ann Riggs, Skeet and Barbara Melvin; her son Preston (Lynn Roberts); her brother Bill; her sister-in-law Joan Whisnant of Winterville, NC; her granddaughters, Rebecca Roberts Barilovits (Stephen IV) of Hillsboro, OR, Caroline Stuart Williams (Jonathan) of Clover, SC, Rachel Roberts Joyce (Jimmy) of Cary, NC and Eliza Roberts of Rural Hall, NC; and her great grandchildren, Avery Katherine Joyce and Stephen Barilovits V. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
