He is survived by: his mother Jane Creasman Peninger; his wife Kay Collins Peninger of Gastonia; his sons, Marty Peninger, Jr. (Becky) of Marietta, GA and Max Peninger of Richmond, VA; his brothers, Charlie Peninger (Ann) of Gastonia and Tim Peninger (Phyllis) of Lawrenceville, GA; his grandchildren, Emily and Wyatt Peninger; his nephew Will Peninger; his nieces, Linsay Peninger, Logan Peninger and Anna Adams; and his godson Adam Timmons of Houston.
