With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alexander Frank Hegenbart (Gastonia, North Carolina), who passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ingeborg. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Glenna), Elizabeth (Robert) and Wendy (Wesley). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alex Hegenbart Scholarship Fund.
