She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Barnes Sr. and Ola McMillan Barnes; her husband Roy Lee Ammons; and her siblings, Josephine Barnes Curtis, Lois Barnes Mize, Louise Barnes Carrigan, Floyd Barnes and Charles Barnes Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Pansy Ammons Seagle of Tifton, GA and Wayne Ammons of Mt. Holly; her granddaughters, Autumn Lee Seagle of San Diego, CA and Jennifer Ammons Acheson (Chris) of Belmont; her great grandchildren, Owen and Royston Acheson; and her sister Carolyn Green (Bobby) of Kings Mountain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
