He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Willis and Beulah Peeler Willis; and his brother John D. Willis. He is survived by: his children, Robert "Cooter" Willis and Christie; his son-in-law Paul McNeilly of Polkville; his grandchildren, Ashland Taylor Willis, Jonathan Rod Willis, Joshua Reed Parker and Jada Jane Messer; his nephew John D. Willis, Jr. (Susan); his great-nephew Christopher Lance Willis; and the mother of his children Rachel Workman Smith. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
