He is survived by: his brother Carson Shearin; his daughters, Regina Shearin Barnes (John, Jr) of Gaston, Susan "Sue" Shearin of Roanoke Rapids, Lori Robinson (Lester) of Clemmons and Margaret "Margie" Esidro (Dion) of Shawboro; his siblings, William, Robert, Roy Shearin, Ellen Shearin, Betty Harlow and Bonnie Overton; and his grandchildren, Savannah, Courtlyn Barnes, Shannon Hall, Michelle Adams, Ryan Smiley, Brittany Segundo, Jarrett and Marena Robinson.
