It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Townsend (Gaston, North Carolina), who passed away on July 4, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, T. R. Townsend Sr. and Dot Gainey Townsend; and his brother Roger Townsend. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carver Townsend; his daughters, Brandy Townsend, Megan Martin (Kenny) and Amber Townsend; and his siblings, Ruth Milwood, Ruby Roland, Lisa Kiser (Jeff), Sandra Townsend, Bobby Townsend (Vickie) and Rev. James Townsend (Debra).
