We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2021, at the age of 90, Mary Vanamerongen of Gaston, North Carolina, born in Syracuse, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Vanamerongen; her parents, Edwin Lee and Edna Mildred Emm Beard; and her siblings, Elenita Meyers, Donald Beard, Evelyn Amidon, Betty Rommes, Robert Beard, Jean Stuenzi, Edwin Beard, Richard Beard and John Beard (Jack).
She is survived by: her sisters, Kathleen Beard and Ruth Reynolds; her children, David Kuc, Karen Knotts (Randy) and Patricia Bruce (Paul); her grandchildren, Jolene Martin, Jamie Leone, Stephen Drake, Stephen Sofranko (Susan), Traci Sofranko and Nicole Sofranko; and her great grandchildren, Zeth Denslow-Leone, Austin Martin, Branden Pope, Jack Sofranko and Kelsie Sofranko. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
