It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marva Patillo Smith of Gaston, North Carolina, born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William McKinley Patillo and Nellie Lee Squire Patillo.
