She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Burlie Lee and Kathryn Teague Lee; and her sister Yvonne L. Spencer. She is survived by: her husband John Franklin "Frank" Nixon; her children, Leslie N. Farrar (Scott) of Gastonia, Todd Franklin Nixon (Tammy) of Canton, NC and Julia N. Leinthall (Patrick) of Charlotte; her grandsons, Caleb Farrar (Sara), Joshua Farrar and Noah Nixon; and her great grandchild Andrew Graham Farrar.
