He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hoffa; and his children, Melvina Cummings (Dwight) of Gaston, Lavetta Spence of West Virginia, Patricia Ridenour (Danny) of West Virginia, Leroy Ayersman (Jaretta) of Gaston, Mormalee Rose Burke (Alvin) of West Virginia, Carol Smart (Jeff) of Gaston and Julie Barham. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren.
