He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles A. Helms and Mickey Helms. He is survived by: his brother Rodney; his sister-in-law Joanne Helms; his nephews, Brad Helms (Carla) and Chris Helms (Teresa); and his great-nephew Adam Helms (Marlee Boston).
