She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Love Rhyne and Annie Mae Clemmer; her husband Willard Duke Kimbrell; her son Willard Duke Kimbrell, Jr.; and her siblings, William Clemmer Rhyne, Frances Rhyne Grissom and George Robert Rhyne.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela K. Warlick (Anderson) of Gastonia and Shepard K. Halsch (Tom) of Darien, Conn.; her grandchildren, Collins W. Byers (Fred) of Charlotte, Anderson D. Warlick, Jr. (Annie) of Charlotte and Matthew C. Halsch of Darien, Conn.; and her great grandchildren, Everett K. Byers, Wynn C. Byers, Anderson D. Warlick, III, Smith E. Warlick and Willard Duke Warlick.
