She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Boone and Berbanna Boone; her son Clarence Jr.; and her siblings, Marvin, Solemn, Martha, Leola and Mamie.
She is survived by: her husband Clarence Garner; her children, Rachael Boone (James) of Raleigh, NC, James Garner (Boutina) of Baltimore, Kasharne Clanton, Tiffany Garner (Micah) of Charlotte, NC and Brittany Jordan (Jim) of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren, Marques Sydnor, Katilann Clanton, Ilyas Garner, Asiya Garner, Caleb Greene, Ruqayyah Jordan and Tyshir Jordan; and her siblings, Enoch Boone of Chicago, IL, David Boone (Ernestine Boone), Beulah Bynum of Germantown, MD, Lucille Pauling of Brooklyn, NY, Cora Hendricks and Belinda Gray (Ricky) of Gaston, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.
