He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Moffitt and Shirley Nanney Moffitt; and his siblings, Martha Dalton and Clifton Moffitt. He is survived by: his wife Betty Costner Moffitt; his children, Kenneth Dean Moffitt Jr. (Benita) of Bessemer City and Robin Bryant (Dana) of Lincolnton; his grandson Micah Dean Moffitt (Megan); his great grandchild Esther Moffitt; and his sisters, Betty Buckner of Lake Lure and Peggy Congdon of Black Mountain.
