He was predeceased by: his siblings, Kenneth Wayne Gamble, John Buddy Gamble, Raymond Gamble, Betty Bobo, Caroline Gamble and Lucy Sizemore.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Gamble of Gastonia and Rebecca Flowers of Jacksonville; his siblings, Billy Gamble (Teressa) of Inman, SC, Katherine Chapman of Smyrna, SC, Diane Tilton of Belmont and Jean Crowley (Archie) of Cumberland, RI; his grandchildren, William Flowers of Mt. Holly, Alicia Freeman of Morganton and Matthew Foster of Morganton; and his great great grandchildren, Courtney Foster of Kings Mountain, Nathan Freeman of Morganton and Jonathan Freeman of Morganton.
