She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Moody and Virginia Moody. She is survived by: her children, Donnell Hines, Jr. of Portsmouth, VA, Antony Hines of Wilmington, NC, Bradford Hines (Shernita) of Mooresville, NC, Sandy McGoogan (Timothy) of Jamestown, NC and Yolanda Hill-Moody (Anthony) of High Point, NC; and her sisters, Pearlie Garner (James) of Garysburg, NC, Bettie Lee (Stanley) of Garysburg, NC and Patricia Patillo (Troy) of Gaston, NC. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the H. D. Pope Funeral Home - Roanoke Rapids (520 Smith Church Rd, Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
