He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fitzhugh and Ruth Fitzhugh. He is survived by: his wife Shelba "Jane" Hinson Fitzhugh; his children, John W. Fitzhugh (Donna) of Ahoskie and Raye F. Warren (Chip) of Garysburg; his grandchildren, Jennifer Ott (Timmy) of Garysburg, Jessie Langley (Alex) of Rocky Mount and Jonathan Fitzhugh of Roanoke Rapids; his great grandchildren, Brooke Ott, Bryce Ott, Lennox Langley and Lyllian Langley; his siblings, Andy E. Fitzhugh of Garysburg and Jane Fitzhugh Williford; and his friend Cheryl of Ahoskie.
