He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warren Champion and Barbara Rainey.
The lying in state was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Chapel of Cofield Mortuary (501 W 3rd St, Weldon, NC 27890). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
