She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Douglas Earl and George; her grandson Gregory Lockhart; her siblings, Gene, Jimmy, Bud, Betty Mae, Lee and Bill; her daughters, Pearl Brown of Montclair, NJ, Sallie Sistrunk (Ponie) of Marietta, GA, Mittie Buie of Montclair, NJ, Gwendolyn Reid of Catonsville, MD and Tracey Lockhart of Durham; her grandchild Shearon Grant (Jassen) of Concord, NC; her sons, Grover Lockhart of Irvington, NJ, Caesar Lockhart of Greensboro, NC, James Lockhart (Valeri) of Montclair, NJ, William Lockhart of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Milton Lockhart of Jonesboro, GA and Ritchie Lockhart of Garysburg, NC; her grandchild Daimen Garner Lockhart of Garysburg, NC; her brother Roosevelt Demory of Baltimore, MD; her sisters-in-law, Mary Faison of Norfolk, VA, Ruth Lockhart of Garysburg, NC, Emily Cumbo of Rich Square, NC and Blanche Lockhart of Roanoke Rapids, NC; her niece Grois Lockhart Johnson; and also Yvonne Lyons. She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
