He was predeceased by: his wife Wilhelmenia; his sons, Dement Jr. and Arnold Sr.; his grandchildren, Natasha and Jeffrey; and his sister Aubry.
He is survived by: his sister Catherine; his children, Melvina and Westley; and his grandchildren, Dement III, Arnold Jr., Westley Jr. and Vanessa. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and close friends.
