She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Garner and Plummie Garner; her siblings, Annie Laura Boone, Mary Elizabeth Bradley, Lewis Evernard Garner, William Garner, Jearlene Broady and Earlie Garner; her granddaughter Ja'Leah Broady; and her great grandchild Kyomi Ragland.
She is survived by: her husband Leroy Broady; her children, Cary Broady, Sr. (Lisa) and Barbara "Michelle" Faison (Kenneth); her niece Angela Garner; her grandchildren, Kentrice Ragland "Trice", Cary "CJ" Broady (Felicia "FeFe"), Darlesha Broady, Kelsey Montgomery (Tyrone "TJ"), Christian Broady (Asiana) and Cailen Broady; her great grandchildren, Emmanuel Ragland Jr. "EJ", Jaden Ragland, Adrianna Broady "Anna", Makaila Montgomery "Kai-Kai" and Emariona Ragland "Mari"; and her siblings, Atlas Garner (Sandra) and Earlene Mitchell. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessess (2766 Cornwallis Rd, Garysburg, NC 27831). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Garner II Family Cemetery (266 Hillcrest Ln, Garysburg, NC 27831).
