With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Woodard (Garner, North Carolina), who passed away on January 7, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Glendora Denning Woodard; and his parents, William Lewis Woodard and Deborah Powell Woodard. He is survived by: his children, Gail Woodard of Angier, NC, Patricia Woodard of Angier, NC, Deborah Jones of New Bern, NC, Cathy Woodard, William Thomas Woodard Jr. (Lisa J. Woodard) and His; his grandchildren, Stephen Jones, Avondale, Penn, Courtney Keith (Joey Keith), Tina Brooks (Harry Brooks) and Dakota Johnson; his great grandchildren, Noah Jones of Oxford, PA and Holley Brooks; his sisters-in-law, Alice Woodard and Edna Woodard; and his siblings, Margaret Magdalene Martin (Roy), Virginia Brown (Thomas), Geneva Goldman Porter (George), Miriam Woodard, Lewis Hiriam Woodard, Edward Bernard Woodard (Carol), Henry Pascal Woodard, Samuel Dale Woodard (Susie) and Wilbur Larry Woodard. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Garner Church of God or Transitions Life Care Hospice Center of Wake County.
