He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul William Jones and Helen Stephenson Jones; his wife Dorothy Ray Jones; and his brothers, Grady Jones and Jimmy Jones.

He is survived by: his daughter Crystal Jones Seagroves; his son-in-law Zindall Seagroves; his grandchildren, Brittainy Seagroves Rose and Zachary Seagroves; his great grandchild Vance Seagroves; and his siblings, Dorothy Jones Dupree, Danny Jones and Johnny Jones.
