We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2021, at the age of 91, Weldon Guy Rice of Garner, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Guy and Etta Mae Dorsey Rice; his wife Alma E. Rice; and his sister Doreen Rice Wheless. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela "Pam" Rice Upchurch (Jeff) of Yorktown, VA; his brother John E Rice (Betty Sue) of Henderson; his grandson Justin D. Upchurch (Vanna) of Yorktown, VA; and his great grandchildren, Thomas, David, Aaron and Abigail Upchurch.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Highland Baptist Church, 8524 Crowder Road, Raleigh, NC 27603 or to Transitions Lifecare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
