He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Walter V. Bass, Sr. and Mildred Pope Bass. He is survived by: his wife Cile Bass; his son Brian Bass (Adriane); his grandchildren, Ryder and Jordan of Willow Spring; his son Kevin Bass (Kristin); his grandchildren, Maizy and Myles of Raleigh; and his sisters, Pam Radford (Doug) of Wilson, Regina House (Jesse) of Apex and Linda Hagwood (Dwight) of Santee, SC.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and two great-nieces.
