He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughter Vickie Yates (Dennis) of Denton; his parents, Frank Dorsett and Lillian Poole Dorsett; his wife Geneva Hughes Dorsett; his sons, Raeford Dorsett (Brenda) of Denton, James Dorsett (Pamela) of Denton and Buddy Dorsett of Thomasville; and his sister Lucille Briles of Asheboro. He was also cherished by 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
