He is survived by: his children, Tim Slywka of Garner, Whitney Burgess (Chris) of Clayton and Lisa Depasqua of Raleigh; his brothers, Daniel Slywka (Mary Ellen) of Seymour, CT and James Slywka (Marge); his sisters-in-law, Sue and Roseann; the mother of his children Judy Oliver of Garner; and his grandchildren, Haider, Skie and Pheobe. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
