He is survived by: his wife Betty S Moss; his daughters, Sherry Moss Mitchell (Mike) and Mandy Moss Phillips (Eric); his grandchildren, Kate M Dunn (Joe), Jackson Mitchell, Daniel, Callie, Wyatt, Titus, Judson, Isaiah and Caleb Phillips; and his great grandchild River Dunn.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Terry's name to Transitions LifeCare, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC 27607.
