He was predeceased by: his parents, James Odell Pittman and Mary Elizabeth Evans Pittman; his former wife Alice Faye Corbett Pittman; his son Stewart Alan Pittman of Atlanta, Georgia; and his siblings, Percy Barbour of Garner, NC, William Barbour of Raleigh, NC, Don Barbour of Cincinnati, Ohio, Frankie Barbour, Ocean and Mary Todd of Lakeland, Florida..
He is survived by: his wife Edith Rose Whitley of Garner; his daughter Traci Miller "Dusenbury" Tate (Joel) of Powhatan, VA; his siblings, Marcia Lowery (Dwight) of Clayton, Gail O'Neal (Clyde) of Knightdale, Eunita Garner of Raleigh, NC, Mike Barbour (Sandra) of Clayton and Dwight Barbour (Dee) of Little River, SC.; his grandchildren, Haley Dusenbury of New York, NY and Conner Dusenbury of Powhatan, VA.; and his children, Oxford Orphanage, App and Giving.
