She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Wynne and Rose Bulick Wynne; and her brothers, Wilbur and Vernon Wynne. She is survived by: her husband Roy Gillespy; her sons, Jeffery Joesph Gillespy and Michael Roy Gillespy (Rhonda); her grandchildren, Tyler Gillespy (Ashtyn), Kendall and Kamdyn; her great grandchild Hampton Gillespy; her sister Shelia Hommell; her nephew Darren; and her niece Lisa.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
