He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Thompson and Ella Mae Thompson; and his brother Phil Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Ann Whitley Thompson; his son Michael Thompson (Shelly); his grandson Ryan Thompson; his sister-in-law Jeanette Thompson; his nephew Charlie Davis (Kimberly); and also, Brenden and Maggie.
