He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marie E. Martin Platero and Rodger L. Platero Sr.; his grandparents, Esenapa, Robert Martin Sr. of Hogback, NM, Evelyn and Roy Platero of Carson, NM.; his siblings, Kendrick Mahle, Duane Platero, Rafael Platero, Evangeline Platero and Evalina Martinez; his wife Melissa; his children, Christopher, Bryan and Ashley Platero of Garner, NC; and his siblings, Marvin Platero, Rodger Platero Jr. and Eulalia White.
