He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoke Teasley and Janie Goldman Teasley; and his wife Carolyn Worley Teasley. He is survived by: his siblings, Tommie Teasley and Joanne Martin; his father-in-law Lafayette Edward "Pete" Worley; his siblings-in-law, Betty Teasley and Edward Ross "Buddy" Worley; his children, Samantha Lynn Kirk of Clayton and Brian Lee Teasley (Ashley Marie) of Fuquay-Varina; his grandchildren, Natalie Kirk, Jack Kirk and Lindsay Kirk; his brother Jack Teasley of Andersonville, Georgia; his mother-in-law Myrtle Wiggs Worley of Goldsboro; his siblings-in-law, Clara Williford of Lincolnton, Myrtle Ann Worley (Ken Sykes) of Greensboro, Janet Faye Green (Jerry) of High Point and Jackie Martin of Hartwell, Georgia; and his pets, JoJo and Tippy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Under statewide executive order, those planning to attend are respectfully requested to wear a face mask or covering.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions in Roger's memory be made to the US Veterans Corp: 1100 S. Saunders St., Raleigh, NC 27603; the Wounded Warrior Project; or the veterans' charity of your choice to help those who gave so much to protect our freedom.
