He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Walton and Bernice Marshall Walton; and his siblings, Phillip Walton and Lena Walton Mangum. He is survived by: his sisters, Susie Smith (Louis), Iris Williams (Delma), Patricia Walton and Glenda Walton; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Walton Myatt (Johnnie), Lottie Crowder (Samuel), Arthur Hinton of Raleigh, Fareed Shakir of Apex and Jolly Hinton of Raleigh. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
