He is survived by: his children, April Stafford (Bobby) of Raleigh, Angela M. Hockaday (Carlton) of Garner, Dwayne Barnes (Bea Bea) of Boise and Michael Keith of Raleigh; his daughter-in-law Constance Bridges of Knightdale; his brothers, Earl Barnes of Durham and William Richardson of Rochester; and his sister-in-law Elder Sadie Ellis (Bobby) of Raleigh. He is also survived by grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
