He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Henry Meyer and Anita June Steege Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Maria Meyer; his children, Brooke Listmann (Doug), Daniel Meyer (Hillary) and Gillian Talley (Eric); his grandchildren, Nate Listmann, Cali Listmann, Georgia Meyer, Sullivan Meyer, Welles Meyer, Cailyn Talley and Elizabeth Talley; and his siblings, Anita "Bonnie" Vann (Jim), Daryl Cole (Kevin) and Robert "Bob" Meyer (Cinda).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mid-Way Baptist Church (6910 Fayetteville Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603). Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
