He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline McCauley Rigsbee and Johnie Preston Rigsbee; his grandmother Louise; and his aunt Laura McCauley. He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Rigsbee and Dale Suggs; his aunt Betsy Andrews; his wife JoAnn Lane Rigsbee; and his children, Laura Troyano (John), Becky Mayer (Chris), Christian, Cathy Jo Hubbell Lada, Joshua Forrest Hubbell and Crystal Quate Hockaday (Chris). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
