She is survived by: her mother Tangelia Hairston of Raleigh, NC; her sons, Mekhi Ray of Garner, Mason Lee of Garner and Myles Ellis of Garner; her husband DeMarquil Barr; her father Ray "Mike" Rose of Winston-Salem, NC; her siblings, Ray Artez Rose II (Benita) of Winston and Tamara Nance of Virginia; her in-law Bonnie Barr-Wallace (Lawrence) of Winston-Salem, NC; her siblings-in-law, Tiayonne Evans of Greensboro, NC, Antwone Evans and De'Monte Barr of Winston-Salem, NC; her aunts, Billie Debra Murray, Jane Percival and Mary "Bitty" Scott (Jimmy); her uncle Butch "Tom" Rose; and her nieces and nephews, De'Mere Barr of Durham, NC, Journei Austin of Winston-Salem, NC, DeMarius of Charlotte, NC, De'Montae Barr, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Jalen of Winston-Salem, NC and DJ Barkley of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by great-uncles, great-aunts, Godchildren, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church (4129 Northampton Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
