She was predeceased by: her parent Willie King. She is survived by: her parent Berta King; her sons, Chris Shepard (Jerri) of Garner and Tim Shepard (Ema) of Wake Forest; and her stepchildren, Sharon Maynard of Newton Grove and Joey Parrish of Princeton. She is also survived by three sisters; one brother; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
