With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nellie Vivian Macon (Garner, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 24, 2024 at the age of 104. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Warren and Mary Ella Smith Kelly; her husband Clyde Rolland "Sleepy" Macon; her children, Mary "Mickey" Macon and Michael Macon; her great grandchild Henry Sánchez; and her siblings, Ida Nobling, Addie Jordan, Bill Kelly, Melvin Kelly, Lillie Morris, Minnie Williams and Nannie Stephenson.

She is survived by: her children, Pat Ayscue, Nancy Taylor (John), Anita Berry (Buzzy), Denise Jeffries (Rickie) and Warren Wood (Gina); her daughter-in-law Beth Macon; her grandchildren, Christie Kelly (Jimmy), Joshua Taylor (Cameron), Kelly O'Neal (Bryan), Lisa Nobling (Johnnie), Amanda Jeffries and David Berry; and her great grandchildren, Eli and Allison.
