He was predeceased by: his parents, Minier Sargent and Henrietta Sargent; and his brother Doug Sargent. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sargent; his children, Michael A. "Andy" Sargent, Tammy P. Clement and Deanna P. Eatmon; his grandchildren, James Brandon Holding, Taylor D. Farrell, Samuel Cody Eatmon and Sierra K. Clement; his great grandchildren, Chandler James Farrell and James Liam Holding; and his sister Mary Coles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
