Marshall Calvin Grissom Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 9, 2020, at the age of 92, Marshall Calvin Grissom (Garner, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Collin Lee Grissom and Luna Penny Grissom; his daughter Marsha Jean Grissom (Johnson); his granddaughter Baby Batten; his son-in-law Danny A. Batten; and his siblings, Louise G. Dean, Rachel G. Tart, Douglas L. Grissom and Billy M. Grissom.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Coats Grissom; his children, Beverly Grissom Batten, Donna Grissom and Tim Grissom; his son-in-law H. Felton Johnson; his grandchildren, Tommy Langdon (Cynthia), Traci Beasley (Roger), Kelli Adcock (Craig), Michael Stanley, Collin Batten (Alli), Jennifer Ferguson (Stan), Jeanna Brooks (Ben), Timothy Marshall Grissom and Dylan Grissom (Amanda); and his great grandchild Andrew Grissom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the risk of COVID-19 transmission, the family requests that attendees wear masks and practice social distancing.
